Welcome to the Taste Lab

It was under the leadership of Pia Schömenyr at Ingarö that the foundation for VegMe's vegetarian protein alternative was laid in 2016.

Pia is the manager at VegMe, although everyone in the family has a long and solid background in the restaurant world - knowledge and experience that we have brought with us to VegMe so that you never have to compromise on origin, taste, quality or climate.

In the Taste Lab, there is a constant creative process to produce plant-based food with a focus on taste experience and origin. In the Taste Lab, we test new and exciting products for VegMe and make sure they have the right consistency and DNA. This is also where we test all recipes so we know they are as good as they can be.
